The JYC Fleet organizes fun trips and overnighters to various locations along the coast. JYC members are encouraged to join in and join the fun! If you would like to organize and lead a Fleet trip contact Rich, as the Fleet is always open to new ideas and locations.

Hingham Yacht Club Cruise

The Hingham Yacht Club Fleet Cruise was held Sat/Sunday June 23 & 24; JYC social with appetizers (1 or 2 items from each boat, a Commodore's Locker and get together at their club from 4 to 6pm. JYC Fleet Captain & assistants will BBQ burgers, hot dogs, chicken, corn, vegies & salads, and we may have special surprises for the children (and adults too!). We should plan our own breakfasts and coffee Sunday, although their galley opens at 9am. We may want to catch the outgoing tide around that time, so plan accordingly. Hingham Yacht Club is a great club with launch service, fuel dock, and a galley. They do not have a bar, but we can bring our own. Limited moorings are available for JYC use and rafting with one or more boats will be required - have fenders/bumpers on hand. We plan on leaving JYC around 9:30 am on Saturday Morning. Again, use the sign-up sheet in the first floor hall. Please call or email Rich with questions.

Scituate Fleet Cruise

On August 11, the Alex and Karen Arcisz  Satuit Boat Club trip was attended by a record 14 JYC Boats! Enjoying the perfect weather and camaraderie were 29 members, 1 golden retriever, and 1 guinea pig! Club members enjoyed a great dinner at "On the Water" restaurant, as well as the facilities of Satuit Boat Club. Special thanks go out to the members and management of Satuit Boat Club for hosting Jubilee!  Well Done Alex & Karen!!

Spectacle Island Fleet Cruise

The Fleet enjoyed an overnight cruise to Spectacle Island in Boston Harbor on Saturday, August 25.  The island has hiking trails, a swimming beach, a snack bar and live Jazz concert on Sunday afternoons. We had cocktails onboard ‘Sabbatical' and enjoyed the use of the marina's grill for a dockside cookout. Gloucester Schooner Festival

John Ring led a fleet cruise to Gloucester during the Gloucester Schooner Festival, first weekend of September (Labor Day Weekend). Several JYC boats reserved moorings off Ten Pound Island, and enjoyed cocktails aboard En Garde! The Parade of Sail, and fireworks were a joy for all.
